I'm a pepper your a pepper...

Possible alternate titles for this post: "Squeaker the produce inspector" and "How do I eat these?"

Squeaker continues to make good progress learning her way around this oversized world. She's mastered crawling up, but not down the single stair out of my parents florida room. The last time I watched her do it, she put her hands out and walked up to it. Of course the time before that she put her hand out too early and almost ended up flat on her face. She seems more wobbly now than she did weeks ago just sitting around. My guess is that whatever it is about teething that causes toddlers to grab at their ears is messing with her balance.

That's about all I have to report. Sorry for the late post. We did have peach pancakes for breakfast....

Taking care of Dad

Squeaker wanted me to tell y'all that she's taking care of her dad. As you can see she's making sure he gets his Cheerios and smiles sometimes. He's getting lots of help from our families and from our church. He's doing ok.

Squeaker is starting to connect words with her household companions the "dugy" and the "gat"s. She's started pushing things around the floor much like football players would push a sled (I'll work on picures). She's happy to see her dad or her Aunt Brite in the morning, but she still looks around the corner for her mom. She'e eating very, very well but is still working on drinking from a sippy cup.

That's all for for now. Squeaker and I have decided to make blogging and pancakes part of our Saturday morning routine so check back for weekly updates.
