Lawn and Garden Squeaker

Squeaker and the Daddy person had a nice trip to visit Momzie this weekend. Whenever we get to the farm, our little gardener heads straight for the vegetable patch. She found some peppers, tomatoes and squash this weekend.

Quiet Weekend

Squeaker and her family enjoyed a quiet weekend at home this weekend. Saturday morning she got to watch the Daddy person huff and puff his way though a race. She might have enjoyed the blueberry bagels more than the show, but she seemed to have a good time anyway. The Daddy person has been planning to take her out to Sunday brunch since August and yesterday, we finally were in town together on a Sunday, so we got our chance.

Have a good week, and if you didn't check late last week, read the last post.

Worth the Wait!

When Squeaker is out of town without the Daddy person, we here at Squeakerpants.com are without our muse. However, she is back now, with stories.

Squeaker went to Ohio with Aunt Brite and Uncle Mack to reprise her role as a flower girl. The picture above was taken well after her normal bedtime, she had been waiting a couple of hours for dessert. The mousse with raspberry sauce was so good that she wanted to eat one the size of "a one year old T-rex" and if possible to have "400 million times more" than her first helping

During the wedding the flower girl did not seem to be paying attention to the mass, but on the way home today she was overheard telling her little cat Stripe that "At my church, when you are six and a half, you can eat the body of Jesus bread". Apparently, she was listening during the service...

At the reception, Squeaker asked Brite, "Will they have line dancing? At Aunt Sandra's wedding, I did line dancing. The man told me to go left, and forward, and back a lot." Brite responded that she wasn't sure, so Squeaker took matters into her own little, brazen hands and took her case to the DJ.

A few minutes later, the DJ came on and announced that "the flower girl had requested line dancing and everyone should come join her." The DJ picked the Electric Slide, and his directions left most rookies (including Brite) confused. Squeaker stopped in the middle of the dance floor and put her head down.

When Brite went to investigate/rescue her, Squeaker said "Brite, he stopped telling me which way to go and I do not remember. At Aunt Sandra's wedding, they told me what to do I did it. I just can't do it now." Thankfully before the flower girl melted, the DJ played Staying Alive, "from Daddy's playlist" and everything was right with the world again.
