Squeaker Organizer Pants

Last night Squeaker decided that our hall closet was disorganized. Without telling anyone she took it upon herself to organize the shoes. My favorite part of this picture is that the LR / RL ratio of the shoes is just about what she usually manages with her feet.

Speaking of Squeaker taking things upon herself, about a week ago we were heading back to our house for dinner. It was about bedtime, so the Daddy person decided that the best way home was the one that took 20 minutes instead of seven. Like magic, Squeaker passed right out. She went out that soon enough that I contemplated turning around. Beth was along and we were surprised just how totally Squeaker was out.

Once we got home, I started to unload Squeaker. Getting her out of the car was like lifting a sack of potatoes. The Daddy person was surprised when Squeaker didn't put her arms around my neck. I was a little suspicious at this point, but mostly I was working hard to get her in the house without dropping anything. I succeeded and once I closed the front door, I was rewarded for my trouble with a giggle.

Squeaker was rewarded for her treachery with tickles....

Squeaker Reader Pants

One of Squeakers favorite ways to unwind after a hard day at school is to watch a video. Since most of what she watches is PBS, she shouldn't be turning her brains to jelly. Well at least not green jelly.

So, the Daddy person decided to make her earn her videos. So each book now earns squeaker a video and a quarter. So far so good.

We decided to swing by a local donut shop before church yesterday. Squeaker seemed determined to get something with chocolate, although the Daddy person said that wouldn't be good for her new dress. So we settled on pink...

OMG! Go Team!

The daddy person thinks this picture pretty well speaks for itself, although it begs the question - does the attitude come with the uniform? Squeaker is obviously back in the swing of school and so are we. We even had pancakes this morning - mixed berry and banana.

Yoga Nails?

Squeaker was getting her nails done this morning and decided 'Downward Facing Dog' was the way to go.

Piano Recital

Squeaker has been continuing with her piano lessons and has been making good progress. The biggest difference from the Daddy person's point of view comes when she sits down at a toy piano to play. Instead of randomly hunting and pecking, she randomly hits the keys with her fingers in the proper position. Enjoy this video:
